I don't know why people keep saying this. It's not like anything's going to have changed. I still would have rather had any of the other styles I mentioned than this forced 2.5D stuff that's being pushed nowadays.

I know that, but I watched it a second time and my eyes were a lot less jaded. It looked no where near as bad as I first thought. And unlike what some people are saying, it looks absolutely nothing like mighty number 9. Is it the classic 2d? no. But it's really honestly not that bad. At least that's what I came to see on my second watch. I hated it the first time.

TBH, I see this as Capcom trying to take a cheap shot at Inafune by doing what he intended to do but better. Not that he doesn't deserve it of course, and the game does look better than Mighty Number 9, but it still has that style to it that I just don't like.

The other important thing to note is that Mewtwo's two weaknesses back in the day were Bug/Ghost. And Bug/Ghost attacks in Gen I were limited to Lick (20 attack power) and Twinneedle (25 attack power). So...yeah, might as well be no weaknesses.

Psychics were actually immune to Ghost in Gen 1 instead of it being super effective against them.

If it's what I think you're referring to, I got annoyed that people still associate me with that person that I was then. As if all I ever did was get tricked by pikaness and hate Chrono Trigger.

really, these days, I associate TUM a lot more with pika than GMUN (despite not knowing that pika and TUM we're an item until after the fact) and stuff like this topic is basically why.

Well no offense to GMUN, but he's done a lot more memorable(infamous) stuff here than I have. While I've had my share of things I was a part of, I didn't often try to be in the spotlight as he has(whether intentional or not).

Also, pikaness and I were never an "item". I admit that I did try to become more than friends with him but I never went to the extent that GMUN did with the drawings, trying to voice chat, and actually visiting him in person. (Again, no offense to you GMUN because I do understand).

The truth is just that I don't like the game and my hate was mostly for my disappointment after how much hype it got. Chrono Trigger isn't a bad game by any means, just not one I enjoy.

Because of who's posting it and his intention. If some random nobody that I didn't know made a pikaness topic I wouldn't care less because it's not someone I know. However I have spoken to Andy many times on AIM and he knew back then the pikaness thing really bothered me. I don't get how people can like Astro Man's theme more than the other 2. I mean, it's better than the Astro Man theme from Mega Man and Bass, but it's definitely low tier.
